- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with all marinade ingredients. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

- Place ho fun noodles in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Soak for 2 minutes, then drain gently and set aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion and stir-fry for about 20 seconds until fragrant. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3 minutes until just cooked.
- Add the sliced peppers and stir-fry for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add ho fun noodles, spring onions, and prepared sauce. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes until the noodles are tender and evenly coated.
- Serve immediately while hot.
